There is a gap a lot of families feel, including my own, even if they have not had the words for it yet.
We do not need full-time daycare. We do not need another loud indoor playground. We
do not need one more activity that requires planning, packing, supervising, and surviving.
We need somewhere easier.
That is why I am creating Little Brook.
Little Brook is a luxury family club coming to Lisle, Illinois, designed for families with children ages 0–8. It is a place where children can play, learn, and discover while caregivers get relief, community, excellent coffee, and support.
The Space Between Home and Daycare
Most families know the two ends of the spectrum: on one end, there is home. Home is comfortable, but it can also feel repetitive, isolating, and exhausting when you are caring for young children all day.
On the other end, there is daycare. Daycare is necessary for many families, but not every family needs full-time childcare.
Little Brook is being built for the space in between.
For the caregiver who works from home but still needs somewhere to go.
For the stay-at-home parent who wants community and a calmer rhythm to the week.
For the family that works remotely but doesn't want to send their kids to daycare.
For the parent who wants their child to play somewhere beautiful, clean, and thoughtfully designed.
Little Brook is not trying to be the best play cafe. It is creating the space between home and daycare.
Coming to Lisle, Illinois
Little Brook is planned for Lisle, Illinois, with a target opening in February 2027.
Membership will be capped at 150 families. Once full, new families will move to a waitlist.
